 Wollongong
High School of the Performing Arts has a proud record of achievement. The school
motto, "Whatever you do, do well", characterises the school's focus of academic
excellence and excellence in the Performing Arts.
Established in 1916, Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts has been an
exemplary provider of public education in the Illawarra. In the 21st Century
it successfully combines long established traditions and a contemporary
educational practice.
Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts is a comprehensive high school
with a specialist Performing Arts focus. Approximately one third of the student
population has gained entry via audition.
Students from the areas of Gwynneville, Keiraville, Mt Keira and West Wollongong
have entry as 'In Area' students. There is also a high demand for 'Out of Area'
entry placements by parents.
