Choosing a school for your child is a big decision. As parents, you want your
child to feel happy about coming to school, to have good friends and be taught
by teachers who are professional and caring.
Our school was renamed Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts in 1993
and since then the number of Performing Arts students has grown to currently comprise half
of the student body.
The school Motto "Age Quod Agis" is Latin for "Whatever you do do well", a
philosophy that is as current today as when it was written in 1916.
At Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts we work very hard to achieve
the standards set down in our Statement of Purpose. Our academic results in the HSC are amongst the strongest in the Illawarra. Our
standards are demonstrated time and time again. Our school has in place strong
measures to promote good discipline and bullying and harassment are not tolerated.
I hope the information in this web site is helpful to you, but please do not
hesitate to contact the school if there is additional information you need.
